Adrienne C.A. Barnes, D.D.S.
Dr. Adrienne Barnes is a Chicago native and a graduate of Bradley University in Peoria, Illinois. She attended Georgetown University School of Dentistry where she received her Doctorate of Dental Surgery. After graduation Dr. Barnes practiced as a general dentist, developing a connection and love for treating the child patient.
To better serve families with young children and provide care to the most vulnerable patient population, she went on to receive a certificate in Pediatric Dentistry from the University of Illinois College of Dentistry in Chicago, Illinois. Upon completion of her residency program Dr Barnes maintained a private pediatric dental practice and held a part-time teaching position in the Postgraduate Pediatric Dental Residency Program as a Clinical Assistant Professor at UIC College of Dentistry.
Dr. Barnes is a certified pediatric dental specialist and Diplomate of the American Board of Pediatric Dentistry. She is also a member of the American Academy of Pediatric Dentistry, American Board of Pediatric Dentistry, Illinois Society of Pediatric Dentists, Illinois State Dental Society, American Dental Association and the Chicago Dental Society.
Dr. Barnes gives back to the community through charities which include the Salvation Army and the Greater Chicago Food Depository, as well as her local church. In 2012 she served as a spokesperson for Delta Dental's Dentist by One Program. Dr. Barnes is currently working to perfect her knitting skills and learning French as a second language. She is married with two children and has a golden doodle "grand" dog named Sophie.
